My daughter bought my wife one of these this year for Mother's Day. Well, it's actually the second one be cause she killed the first one by not transplanting it. Anyways, I planted this one for her to keep it from dying in the container and much to my surprise, this thing has already started growing after about two weeks. Not just a little bit either, I'm talking about several inches in just a couple of months. I never knew what Knockout Roses were until she got this one and I have to say they're very pretty. They remind me of what we in the South call Cherokee Roses that grow in the woods. I hope it's not truly like the Cherokee's in that it won't just go crazy growing all over the place. My wife has informed me that she wants at least 4 more of these to pant in a hedge row kind of. I have a distance of about 16 foot to plant these and I wonder how many I will need to cover this 16 foot when they get grown?? I'm going to show her the Fire colored ones and see if she likes that one. Awesome plants by the way.

I received the rose tree 2 days ago and planted it the same day. It had a few blooms and buds all over and I can't wait to see what it looks like in a few weeks. I took a picture of it in the container to compare in a few weeks. I put it in the back of our new home and landscape where it'll get 7hrs of sun. #breathtaking

When I first got this one it did great so many beautiful bubble gum pink roses on it. Then unfortunately around August it had something eating the leaves. Sometimes right down to the vein. I began spraying it but to no avail. There was a mini rose bush planted in the same section and it looked the same. So I wondered if whatever was eating it had latched onto mine. At any rate I decided to transplant it to the section of the garden across the sidewalk from the one it was planted in nearest the door. The other two were in the same garden only near the end of it in my red knockout and Lizabeth rose (nether one had their leaves affected). Within a few weeks it began to get better. I also noticed too that whatever was eating it was gone. New shoots came out on it followed by new leaves that remained uneaten. I was amazed at how resistant it was and the best news of all it has started budding again!! The first one opened up on it about a week ago and there are more to follow. It has completely recovered from the incident and is once more its lively self. I am so thrilled to see it do so.
